Concrete and Concrete Saws

This course covers the pouring and placing of concrete required by both building and highway projects. A second part of the program covers the care, maintenance, and operation of concrete saws. Individuals are taught to place and vibrate concrete in wall sections, columns, and road forms. They are taught the setting and leveling of road forms as well as the stripping, oiling and storage of wall forms.

Graduates are required to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of placing concrete and forming procedures as well as the operation and maintenance of street and multipurpose saws.
