Apprentice Exemption/Work Hours Credit

As per section 10 of the Ohio Laborers Training and Apprenticeship Trust Fund Standard of Apprenticeship, credit may be granted for verifiable past construction experience by the local union sub-committee on aprenticeship. The remaining term of apprenticeship may be reduced after the appropriate classroom hours have been met. The sub-committee may also reduce the term of apprenticeship for individual apprentices who demonstrate exceptional skill and technical knowledge in any module or major component of the required work process.
