Radiation Worker Training Course

This 24-hour course is designed for students who are involved in the clean-up of radiologically contaminated waste sites. This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of ionizing radiation and its attending hazards. The course includes the following topics:

The class consist of both classroom and hands-on activities.

Graduates must pass a written test with a score of 80% or better.This course provides excellent preparation for laborers who will be working in DOE and NRC facilities
