TRENCHLESS TECHNOLOGY

A one-week (40 hours) course in new and emerging technologies of sewer rehabilitation. The course will include classroom discussion and hands-on activities of various methods being used in sewer re-construction. This will include remote TV inspection, pan & tilt camera on tractor, skid with remote cutter for laterals with operation from trailer control room, testing and splicing of multi-conductor cables, cutter disassembly and maintenance, "wet-out" liner and "cured-in-place" pipe inversion.

There is no pre-requisite for this class, but experience in pipe laying or training in A-3 would be helpful. This class is recommended for Laborers who work for contractors involved in this type of work, or who are getting into this work.
